Do You Recognize the 10 Early Warning Signs of Having to Sell your Home?

This is not an easy thing to talk about, however, its NOT THE END OF THE WORLD. I asked myself HOW can I reach out to the homeowners that are faced with having to sell their home and REALLY DON’T WANT TO.  If something is NOT done, you will surely lose it.  HOW you got here
is IRRELEVANT. The circumstances were beyond your control or maybe it was. What’s that saying? To those who judge may they be the first to cast the first stone...huh, did I say that right?   Refinancing is out of the question.  A loan modification is useless. You owe more than the house is worth.  

It’s all the same, pain is pain and hurt is hurt. There are no variances or degrees within, or any discrimination.  You delay reaching out to someone because YOU DON’T WANT ANYONE TO KNOW.  You just know something and somehow it will work out next month, or the next, and the next, and the next...WRONG!

This is in no particular order and I welcome anyone FAMILIAR with this to just jump right on in.  I really want to hear what YOU have to say. So here goes...

You STILL have not called your lender

Your afraid to go to the mailbox as if your going to be attacked

You cancel your lawn service and told the wonderful folks who care for your lawn you can’t afford to hire them again that you’ll do it yourself

You cancel your security system

You NEED to delay a payment here and there 

You stop purchasing ANYTHING that are not necessities

You have to cancel your children’s after school activities (if any) or tell your grown children in college we may have to delay a year...or two

You start taking MONEY out of your savings or your retirement or where ever you can find it

Your stressing out because the AC is running ALL the time and its ONLY set to 70 

You jump every time the phone rings or someone knocks on the door

Do not procrastinate any longer, the longer you wait, the worse it becomes.  Let me save you the frustration. It is crucial to sort this out in the early stages. How do I know this?  Well because it’s exactly what I did. Yep, me.

I had to SHORT SALE MY lovely home. To be exact settlement occurred on Jan 12, 2011, AND I received my 1099-C (Cancellation of Debt) from my lender.  Anyone with the know how can look me up.
